Stenner Photography

About Rob Stenner

My love for photography started as a hobby over 30 years ago.  It started in my darkroom developing black and white images of my growing family and the beautiful local landscapes in the Interior of B.C.  Over time, I have developed a love for landscape and nature photography.  I love capturing the very transient natural light that occurs in nature; whether this is in our backyard or in our travels to different areas in the world.

The new technologies that are now available allow for limitless possibilities to better portray to a viewer how I saw a particular moment in time.  I hope that when you look at my images you will feel a greater appreciation for the world that we live in and perhaps my images will evoke emotions of the beauty that exists everywhere.

Courses with the Rocky Mountain School of Photography, Freeman Patterson, and Tony Sweet have helped me open my eyes to the world around me.  I currently belong to the Professional Photographers of Canada, the Canadian Association of Photographic Arts, and the Kamloops Photo Arts Club.  My photographic journey includes multiple awards won with the Professional Photographers of Canada and I have had numerous images qualify to hang in professional salons.

I sell mid size to large prints or canvas wraps of the exceptional scenery in the Interior of B.C. and from my travels to other parts of the world.  My images are printed using archival combinations of pigment inks with paper or canvas media and they are laminated or sprayed for longevity.
